What QuickFile actually costs

The monthly figure a coach at that roster size pays, add-ons the platform forces on you included. Same engine the shortlist quiz uses, so these cannot disagree with it.

Priced by account size, not by clients or users: the size is the number of nominal ledger entries created in the previous rolling 12 months (XS up to 200, S 201 to 500, M 501 to 1,000, L 1,001 to 4,000, XL 4,001 to 40,000). XS, S and M are free. L and XL need the Power User Subscription at £60 + VAT per year (£5 a month, billed yearly). Over 40,000 entries a year is an enterprise quote (the account-size article says £5 + VAT per extra 1,000 entries). Every plan has free unlimited users, API access and multi-currency. Automated bank feeds are an add-on at £15 + VAT per year; extra storage £9.99 per GB per year. Prices are shown ex VAT.

Who it suits

Built for: A UK sole trader or small company that wants free, MTD-ready bookkeeping with unlimited users and only pays once the ledger passes 1,000 entries a year.

Weak at: Nothing on the pricing page for payroll, projects, time tracking or inventory, bank feeds cost extra, and the paid step unlocks power-user conveniences rather than a ladder of business features.
