What this site knows about you
Written from the actual database rather than a template, so you can hold it to it. If something here is wrong, tell me and I will fix the site or the page.
If you only read one thing
Reading this site takes nothing from you that identifies you. The only point where you hand over anything personal is the end of the shortlist quiz, where it asks for a first name and an email before showing your four picks. That is a fair trade to decline, and the whole comparison, every price and every verdict is free to read without it.
What I store when you finish the quiz
One row in a table called quiz_leads, on Cloudflare D1. It holds
the name and email you typed, the answers you gave, the four platforms you were shown, any
note you left about leftover admin, the campaign tags on the link that brought you here,
the page you came from and your country. Not your IP address, and not your postcode: the
country comes from a header Cloudflare adds, and the address itself is never written down.
That row is also sent to my CRM, GoHighLevel, and a one line notice goes to a private Slack channel so I see it. I use it to send you your shortlist and to write about this software. You can tell me to delete it and I will, see below.
What I count while you read
Two things, and they behave differently. I would rather say so than let you find out from a cookie banner.
- This site's own counter
- No cookie. A random id is kept in your tab and dies when you close it, so one person answering nine questions can be told apart from nine people answering one. It records the page, where you arrived from, and your country. Nothing that identifies you and nothing that leaves Cloudflare.
- Google Analytics
- Added October 2026. It does set cookies and it does send data to Google, like most of the web. If you would rather it did not, any tracker blocker stops it and the site works exactly the same.
The Try buttons
Every link to a platform goes through /go/ on this domain, which
counts that one click and sends you on. The count is a number per platform, not per person:
the time, the platform, the site you came from and the country, nothing else. Some of those
links earn a commission, which is on the footer of every page and never changes what is
recommended or in what order.
Getting it deleted
Email [email protected] and ask. You do not have to give a reason and you do not have to be polite about it. I will delete the row and tell you it is done. You can also ask for a copy of what is held, which under UK GDPR you are entitled to.
The site is run by Dave Crawford at Anco AI, in the UK, and I am the data controller for it.
