My PT Hub vs PT Distinction

Priced at four roster sizes, the features checked against both pricing pages, and my own verdict on each.

Take My PT Hub if you want unlimited clients on a flat fee and general online 1:1 coaching. Take PT Distinction if you want general online 1:1 coaching and everything included, no add-ons. My PT Hub is cheaper at every size we price.

What each one actually costs

The real monthly figure at four roster sizes with the add-ons each platform forces on you included, from the same engine the shortlist quiz uses. The cheaper of the two is marked on every row.

What is actually different

  • My PT Hub does appointment booking, and PT Distinction does not. We checked both against their pricing pages.
  • My PT Hub lists client check-ins and selling courses where PT Distinction does not, which is their own wording rather than something we verified.
  • PT Distinction lists group chat and leaderboards where My PT Hub does not, which is their own wording rather than something we verified.

I have used both

My PT Hub

A feature-rich, clean platform that suits established coaches, but the flat-fee pricing is rough if you're just starting out.

  • Offers a 30-day free trial with no credit card required, so you can test it properly before committing. 1:22
  • Has its own extensive video library for exercises, so you don't need to spend time shooting your own. 7:03
  • The user interface is very simple and clean, not confusing like some competitors. 7:57
  • Flat pricing means you pay the full monthly rate even with just one client, unlike apps that scale with your roster. 3:27
  • Not ideal for new coaches trying to save costs because you jump straight to the top-tier price after the trial. 3:32
  • Does not integrate with Zapier, which limits automation options with other software. 13:36
  • The interface felt a bit slow and took time to save, though that may have been due to screen recording. 7:32

PT Distinction

PT Distinction is a robust, simple-to-use platform with some of the best AI features I've seen, excellent group coaching, and honest pricing with no hidden fees.

  • When you first land in the dashboard you get a setup assistant which is super helpful, gives you direction on what to set up. 6:55
  • The AI program generator created a full workout plan in about 20 to 30 seconds, giving you something to build on and saving time. 11:24
  • The group coaching features are really solid, you can create specific groups for challenges, trials, or athletes training for similar goals. 18:32
  • I had no criticisms of it.

Neither, or not sure?
