What Asana actually costs

The monthly figure at that many users, which is what Asana charges by. Same engine the shortlist quiz uses, so these cannot disagree with it.

Priced per user. Personal is free for up to 2 seats per project and team; every paid plan removes the seat limit. Starter is $13.49 per user per month billed monthly or $10.99 billed annually; Advanced is $30.49 or $24.99. Enterprise and Enterprise+ are quoted. Seats are bought in bands: one at a time up to 5 users, then in 5s to 30, 10s to 100, 25s to 500 and 50s above that. AI requests are metered on top of the plan ($0.60 each pay as you go, $0.50 prepaid). The page offers a free Starter and Advanced trial but states no length, and Asana's help centre sign-up article does not either, so no trial length is recorded. A limited-time 'save up to 20%' promotion for new customers was showing on the GBP page on 2026-10-16; the USD figures here are the list prices.

Who it suits

Built for: A team that already knows Asana or wants the most widely used project tool, with a clear path from Starter up to goals, portfolios, resourcing and enterprise controls.

Weak at: Not for a small free team or a tight budget: the free plan stops at 2 seats, paid plans are among the dearest per user here, and AI requests are billed on top of the seat price.
