Priced by billable contacts, which means subscribers plus non-subscribers (customers, cart abandoners and imports without an opt-in), with unsubscribes excluded; the price steps every few hundred contacts low down and every 5,000 high up, and the figure shown is the price for the band your count falls in. Standard sends 12 emails per contact a month; Pro sends unlimited emails and is $59 for anything up to 2,500 contacts. There is no annual price: a first paid subscription can pay 3 months upfront at 30% off ($11.20 and $41.30 a month), then it reverts to the regular monthly price. Above 150,000 contacts it is a custom quote. SMS is a Pro add-on bought as credits from $0.007 a message. Charged in USD, VAT excluded.

Who it suits

Built for: An online store that wants email, SMS and web push driven by order and browsing data, with a real free plan to start on.

Weak at: Billing counts non-subscribers as well as subscribers, so a store with a big customer base pays for people it never emails, and Standard caps sends at 12 per contact.
