My PT Hub vs TrueCoach
Priced at four roster sizes, the features checked against both pricing pages, and my own verdict on each.
Take My PT Hub if you want unlimited clients on a flat fee and general online 1:1 coaching. Take TrueCoach if you want general online 1:1 coaching and the fastest programme builder. TrueCoach is cheaper on a small roster and My PT Hub is cheaper by 25 clients, so the answer changes with your size.
What each one actually costs
The real monthly figure at four roster sizes with the add-ons each platform forces on you included, from the same engine the shortlist quiz uses. The cheaper of the two is marked on every row.
| My PT Hub | TrueCoach | Difference | |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 clients | $59 | $57.99 | $1.01 |
| 25 clients | $59 | $136.99 | $77.99 |
| 50 clients | $59 | $136.99 | $77.99 |
| 100 clients | $59 | $136.99 | $77.99 |
What is actually different
- My PT Hub does appointment booking, client food logging, group programmes, your own app in the stores and sellable packages, and TrueCoach does not. We checked both against their pricing pages.
- My PT Hub lists client check-ins, selling courses and progress photos where TrueCoach does not, which is their own wording rather than something we verified.
- TrueCoach lists group chat where My PT Hub does not, which is their own wording rather than something we verified.
I have used both

My PT Hub
A feature-rich, clean platform that suits established coaches, but the flat-fee pricing is rough if you're just starting out.
- Offers a 30-day free trial with no credit card required, so you can test it properly before committing. 1:22
- Has its own extensive video library for exercises, so you don't need to spend time shooting your own. 7:03
- The user interface is very simple and clean, not confusing like some competitors. 7:57
- Flat pricing means you pay the full monthly rate even with just one client, unlike apps that scale with your roster. 3:27
- Not ideal for new coaches trying to save costs because you jump straight to the top-tier price after the trial. 3:32
- Does not integrate with Zapier, which limits automation options with other software. 13:36
- The interface felt a bit slow and took time to save, though that may have been due to screen recording. 7:32

TrueCoach
A robust system with good features for workout building, messaging and payments, though the dashboard can feel noisy and busy.
- Workout builder lets you create training programs for online clients. 1:25
- Access to over 1,200 exercise videos saves time if you haven't made your own. 1:32
- Real-time messaging keeps client conversations on one platform instead of scattered across WhatsApp, email and Messenger. 1:43
- The dashboard feed is noisy and confusing at first look. 4:22
- The programming view shows a lot of information on one page, making it feel technical and busy. 6:21
- No Zapier access, so you cannot connect it to other apps or automate workflows. 10:18

Neither, or not sure?
A head to head only helps once you have picked the two. The shortlist asks 9 questions about your own roster and gives you four picks priced at your client count, from all 26.
