Everfit vs FitBudd

Priced at four roster sizes, the features checked against both pricing pages, and my own verdict on each.

Take Everfit if you want group programmes and challenges and serious nutrition. Take FitBudd if you want your own app in the stores. Everfit is cheaper at every size we price.

What each one actually costs

The real monthly figure at four roster sizes with the add-ons each platform forces on you included, from the same engine the shortlist quiz uses. The cheaper of the two is marked on every row.

EverfitFitBuddDifference
10 clients$49$79$30

50 clients$95$209$114
100 clients$140$309$169

What is actually different

  • Everfit does client food logging, and FitBudd does not. We checked both against their pricing pages.
  • Everfit lists selling courses, intake forms, habit tracking, leaderboards and body metrics where FitBudd does not, which is their own wording rather than something we verified.
  • FitBudd does appointment booking, and Everfit does not. We checked both against their pricing pages.
  • FitBudd lists video form checks where Everfit does not, which is their own wording rather than something we verified.

I have used both

Condensed from my own reviews. Every line links to the second I said it, so you can check any of it. Prices in the table above are from this week; the videos are older and the figures in them are not.

Everfit

A well-built coaching app with standout features like community forums, educational content delivery, and automations that most competitors lack.

  • Free starter plan lets you train up to five clients to test the software before committing. 2:40
  • Voice messaging feature for clients is rare and makes quick communication easier when you're busy. 6:33
  • Automations let you schedule onboarding videos, check-ins and tasks to go out automatically. 10:17
  • Many exercises in the library lack video links, so you may need to add your own YouTube or Vimeo links. 7:07
  • No Zapier integration, which limits connectivity with other tools you might use. 14:26
  • Pricing scales quite quickly as you add more clients. 3:16

FitBudd

An all-in-one platform that competes with larger apps but offers more features for less, with genuinely customisable branding and fast setup.

  • The app branding goes well beyond just adding a logo, letting you customise colours, navigation and put your own personality on it. 0:47
  • Within 60 minutes of signing up you can have your own custom branded app and website ready to launch. 2:52
  • Zero commission on payments, unlike other platforms that sneak an extra percentage on top of Stripe or PayPal fees. 6:29
  • On the free trial you cannot brand the app or change the logo, so you cannot fully test that key feature before paying. 8:35

Neither, or not sure?

A head to head only helps once you have picked the two. The shortlist asks 9 questions about your own roster and gives you four picks priced at your client count, from all 26.
