Everfit vs TrainHeroic
Priced at four roster sizes, the features checked against both pricing pages, and my own verdict on each.
Take Everfit if you want group programmes and challenges and serious nutrition. Take TrainHeroic if you want strength and barbell programming only, teams and squads and selling programmes to people you don't coach. TrainHeroic is cheaper at every size we price.
What each one actually costs
The real monthly figure at four roster sizes with the add-ons each platform forces on you included, from the same engine the shortlist quiz uses. The cheaper of the two is marked on every row.
| Everfit | TrainHeroic | Difference | |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 clients | $49 | $34.99 | $14.01 |
| 25 clients | $95 | $74.99 | $20.01 |
| 50 clients | $95 | $74.99 | $20.01 |
| 100 clients | $140 | $99.99 | $40.01 |
What is actually different
- Everfit does client food logging, nutrition plans and your own app in the stores, and TrainHeroic does not. We checked both against their pricing pages.
- Everfit lists automations, client check-ins, selling courses, intake forms, group chat, habit tracking, body metrics and wearable syncing where TrainHeroic does not, which is their own wording rather than something we verified.
- TrainHeroic lists a programme marketplace where Everfit does not, which is their own wording rather than something we verified.
I have used both

Everfit
A well-built coaching app with standout features like community forums, educational content delivery, and automations that most competitors lack.
- Free starter plan lets you train up to five clients to test the software before committing. 2:40
- Voice messaging feature for clients is rare and makes quick communication easier when you're busy. 6:33
- Automations let you schedule onboarding videos, check-ins and tasks to go out automatically. 10:17
- Many exercises in the library lack video links, so you may need to add your own YouTube or Vimeo links. 7:07
- No Zapier integration, which limits connectivity with other tools you might use. 14:26
- Pricing scales quite quickly as you add more clients. 3:16

TrainHeroic
A clean, focused programming app that nails workout building and analytics without overwhelming bells and whistles, suited to coaches who want simplicity done well.
- The notification centre is really good, showing client readiness, intensity, completed workouts and what needs programming today. 3:16
- Really easy to program and add sessions from your library straight into a client's calendar. 5:43
- Teams feature lets you create shared training calendars and mini challenges, building community and stickiness. 6:32
- It is just for programming, so if you want nutrition or other features you will not find them here. 9:36
