Coach Catalyst vs Everfit
Priced at four roster sizes, the features checked against both pricing pages, and my own verdict on each.
Take Coach Catalyst if you want habits and behaviour change. Take Everfit if you want group programmes and challenges and serious nutrition. Coach Catalyst is cheaper on a small roster and Everfit is cheaper by 50 clients, so the answer changes with your size.
What each one actually costs
The real monthly figure at four roster sizes with the add-ons each platform forces on you included, from the same engine the shortlist quiz uses. The cheaper of the two is marked on every row.
| Coach Catalyst | Everfit | Difference | |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 clients | $39 | $49 | $10 |
| 25 clients | $79 | $95 | $16 |
| 50 clients | $99 | $95 | $4 |
| 100 clients | $129 | $140 | $11 |
What is actually different
- Everfit does client food logging, your own app in the stores, sellable packages and taking payments, and Coach Catalyst does not. We checked both against their pricing pages.
- Everfit lists automations, client check-ins, an exercise library, group chat, body metrics and progress photos where Coach Catalyst does not, which is their own wording rather than something we verified.
I have used both
Condensed from my own reviews. Every line links to the second I said it, so you can check any of it. Prices in the table above are from this week; the videos are older and the figures in them are not.
Coach Catalyst
A standout coaching app built by working personal trainers, with exceptional support, extensive integrations, and a built-in community feature that removes the need for Facebook groups.
- Offers a live onboarding call with their team to help you set up, which no other app provides. 4:23
- Built-in community feature means clients stay in one app rather than getting distracted on Facebook groups. 7:51
- More integrations than any other coaching software, including Fitbit, Garmin, Apple Health, and nutrition trackers. 11:14
- I had no criticisms of it.

Everfit
A well-built coaching app with standout features like community forums, educational content delivery, and automations that most competitors lack.
- Free starter plan lets you train up to five clients to test the software before committing. 2:40
- Voice messaging feature for clients is rare and makes quick communication easier when you're busy. 6:33
- Automations let you schedule onboarding videos, check-ins and tasks to go out automatically. 10:17
- Many exercises in the library lack video links, so you may need to add your own YouTube or Vimeo links. 7:07
- No Zapier integration, which limits connectivity with other tools you might use. 14:26
- Pricing scales quite quickly as you add more clients. 3:16

Neither, or not sure?
A head to head only helps once you have picked the two. The shortlist asks 9 questions about your own roster and gives you four picks priced at your client count, from all 26.
