Everfit vs TrueCoach

Priced at four roster sizes, the features checked against both pricing pages, and my own verdict on each.

Take Everfit if you want group programmes and challenges and serious nutrition. Take TrueCoach if you want general online 1:1 coaching and the fastest programme builder. Everfit is cheaper on a small roster and TrueCoach is cheaper by 100 clients, so the answer changes with your size.

What each one actually costs

The real monthly figure at four roster sizes with the add-ons each platform forces on you included, from the same engine the shortlist quiz uses. The cheaper of the two is marked on every row.

10 clients$49$57.99$8.99
25 clients$95$136.99$41.99
50 clients$95$136.99$41.99
100 clients$140$136.99$3.01

What is actually different

  • Everfit does client food logging, group programmes, your own app in the stores and sellable packages, and TrueCoach does not. We checked both against their pricing pages.
  • Everfit lists client check-ins, selling courses, intake forms, leaderboards and progress photos where TrueCoach does not, which is their own wording rather than something we verified.
  • TrueCoach lists video form checks where Everfit does not, which is their own wording rather than something we verified.

I have used both

Everfit

A well-built coaching app with standout features like community forums, educational content delivery, and automations that most competitors lack.

  • Free starter plan lets you train up to five clients to test the software before committing. 2:40
  • Voice messaging feature for clients is rare and makes quick communication easier when you're busy. 6:33
  • Automations let you schedule onboarding videos, check-ins and tasks to go out automatically. 10:17
  • Many exercises in the library lack video links, so you may need to add your own YouTube or Vimeo links. 7:07
  • No Zapier integration, which limits connectivity with other tools you might use. 14:26
  • Pricing scales quite quickly as you add more clients. 3:16

TrueCoach

A robust system with good features for workout building, messaging and payments, though the dashboard can feel noisy and busy.

  • Workout builder lets you create training programs for online clients. 1:25
  • Access to over 1,200 exercise videos saves time if you haven't made your own. 1:32
  • Real-time messaging keeps client conversations on one platform instead of scattered across WhatsApp, email and Messenger. 1:43
  • The dashboard feed is noisy and confusing at first look. 4:22
  • The programming view shows a lot of information on one page, making it feel technical and busy. 6:21
  • No Zapier access, so you cannot connect it to other apps or automate workflows. 10:18
