Kahunas alternatives

The 9 closest of 22, each with its real monthly cost at 50 clients and what it does that Kahunas does not. See all 26.

My PT Hub does everything we verified about Kahunas for $10 a month less at 50 clients, $59 against $69. It is a price cut rather than an upgrade: on the eight features checked against the vendors’ own pricing pages the two are level. It does also do appointment booking (not clearly included in the plan price), which is not in that figure. The trade: Kahunas is built for your own app in the stores and My PT Hub is not, so this is a swap with a cost.

Why coaches look for an alternative

Pricing is buried on the homepage rather than a pricing page, so most comparison posts get it wrong or omit it. Scheduling unconfirmed.

It runs $69 a month at 50 clients with the add-ons it forces on you included. 2 of the 22 alternatives on this site cost less than that.

What I flagged when I reviewed it, August 2024:

  • Zapier and Make integrations are only available on the business tier, not the starter or pro plans. 13:39
  • Voice notes are handy but if clients send them back you have to listen rather than read, which takes more time. 13:07

What Kahunas is still the best answer for

The cheapest legitimate route to your own store-listed app. Ultimate is $99/mo for unlimited clients with real App Store and Play Store listings under the coach's own name, no commission on sales.

On this site it is the pick for your own app in the stores and unlimited clients on a flat fee. If that is you, read the savings above and then ignore them.

How to read the feature lines

Eight features were checked against each vendor's own pricing page: appointment booking, client food logging, group programmes, coach seats, nutrition plans, your own app, sellable packages and taking payments. Those are the ones written above as does and does not. The other thirteen are read out of each vendor's own feature prose, so an absence there means we did not find it listed, not that the product lacks it, and those lines say lists and does not list instead. How all of this gets checked.

Or let it pick for you

This page compares everything to Kahunas. The shortlist asks 9 questions about your own roster and gives you four picks priced at your client count, which is a better question than “what is like the one I already have”.
